Welcome to the Motor and Food Valley:
Emilia-Romagna in Italy is known as the “Food Valley” for its rich gastronomy, including Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and Aceto Balsamico. It is also famous as the “Motor Valley,” home to automotive brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ducati. The region’s name comes from Via Aemilia, a Roman road still in use today.
Meeting point:
Our meeting point is at 8:30 am at Modena’s central train station, located in Piazzale Dante Alighieri, in the parking lot just outside the train station on via Viale Crispi. Modena is easily accessible by train from other major cities in the area, such as Parma, Bologna, and Milan. If you need help finding the best options, please feel free to ask
Itinerary:
Choose between two 8-hour remarkable itineraries through the food scene and history of Modena:
Balsamic & Lamborghini
This itinerary includes visits to Parmigiano Reggiano, the Lamborghini museum, and Balsamic Vinegar production with a buffet lunch. You’ll be free to explore the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena in the afternoon.
Lambrusco wine & Ferrari
This itinerary includes visits to Parmigiano Reggiano, Lambrusco wine production and lunch in a local restaurant. You’ll be free to explore the Ferrari Museum in Maranello in the afternoon.
End of the tour:
At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at the train station of Modena.
